Providing vital support services
DAVSS is a local charity providing vital support services for anyone experiencing domestic abuse. It is run by volunteers, working across West Kent and runs a helpline from offices in Tunbridge Wells Police Station. DAVSS Volunteers see individuals through the court process. Face to face meetings are arranged individually at convenient and safe venues across area.
The Foundation has supported DAVSS with advice, signposting and mentoring since the beginning. This has led to it now being self-sufficient. The Foundation offers support and funds a part time member of staff to help with fundraising.
